We called to have appointment for my daughter and son, she advised us you can come no problem, after we reached the place and it was in the night she told us is that your first visit? I said yes she told us we are not accepting new patients, and they refused to help us, they are so bad.

Disappointing Experience at Bridgeview Medical Practice:

I had a thoroughly disappointing experience at Bridgeview Medical Practice yesterday. I scheduled an appointment at 3.30, for my son through the Healthengine website due to his sore eyes. Waited at the reception from 3.20. Unfortunately, as of 4:58 PM (at the time of writing this review), we are still waiting for the doctor.

I understand that doctors have busy schedules, but our time is valuable too. I had to take half a day off to bring my son in, only to be left waiting without any communication from the medical staff. It's disheartening to see such a lack of consideration for the patients' time.

To add to the frustration, the receptionist seemed completely clueless about the situation. They were unable to provide any information or updates on the delay, leaving us feeling neglected and unattended.

Regrettably, we're leaving the medical practice without my son receiving any medical attention. This experience has been far from satisfactory, and I cannot recommend Bridgeview Medical Practice to new patients who expect timely and attentive care. It's essential for healthcare providers to value and respect the time of their patients, and unfortunately, Bridgeview Medical Practice fell short in this regard.

This place needs more training and respect among patients… Had a bad day explaining everyone from nurses to doctor why I should take a tetanus shot, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (i work with panels). Anyway this was a minor issue but think about critical illness patients Their struggles evoke deep sympathy.

At least change the attitude and show a happy face!

I do like this place. It is pretty convenient. Doctors that I have seen are fantastic. I recently went to see a doctor and the receptionist wanted to know why I needed to see a doctor. I do not see why I have to explain the reason to the receptionist in the first place. She kept insisting and finally I gave her a reason and she had the audacity to laugh at me. I thought these things were confidential. Receptionist was not very professional.

I visited the practice for the first time today in the afternoon. Upon completion of the form, I was seen to by the nurse and doctor within 10-15 mins.

The doctor was approachable and professional.

This centre does a good service to the community. It opens early and closes at 8pm. Its highly valuable to the people of toongabbie.

Of course it depends on who you have on the day.

In terms of room for improvement, the nurses manners and professionalism could improve. Quite abrupt.

Not good place to visit, If you are an emergency pls forget this practice and try another practice. They never pick the phone.

I needed to see a doctor that night and my regular practice wasn't available, nor were other local practices I called up, but Bridgeview was able to get me an appointment within the hour. The wait time wasn't too bad for such short notice, the GP helped me out and it all went well.

Hope this place closes down. Wait times are horrific (1hr+)even after making a booking. Receptionist are unprofessional and make the most garbage excuses and replies when a patient is asking them questions. There is a lady there with a pony tail In reception and she answers questions about bookings, appointment and doctors in a loop. She never answers the actual question. I literally just stopped talking after hearing her first response this time cos I know her next sentence would make me feel like I’m on a ride at Luna Park.
