If you want to feel like your concerns are dismissed Dr Jessica Rainert is the one for you.

Right from the start we have felt not listened to.

Today we called to re confirm an appointment for tomorrow not only was it booked under the wrong doctor but when they went to talk to Dr Jessica Rainert she came back with our daughter only has a delay it is not urgent, not only does she not know what our last appointment was about considering when we were last there we had spoke about ADHD diagnosis for this appointment and possible medication so that’s what this was meant to be about.

We feel completely let down by Dr Jessica Rainert.

They don't explain the process properly when discharging to a GP and by the time your child has run low on their medication and you are scrambling for help, they try and book you as a new patient with full initial consult fees. This practice is all about making a dollar. We were rescheduled as a follow up after the confusion was eventually sorted, only to be told the appointment was cancelled, and a note placed on our child's file stating 'no rebooking this client'. This is what happens when you express your dissatisfaction in the service. They straight up ban you from returning. Instead of improving their procedures and taking on feedback, they just block it out and make you the problem. They would be best to remember that negative reviews are what potential clients look at when deciding to go with a service.

EDIT: i was contacted by one of the managing Drs and appreciate his proactiveness to the situation and rebooking me 2 months later. I understand the original Dr has a personal life and had to cancel unexpectedly but it would have been good if the reception staff i spoke to initially would have even tried to put me on a cancellation list instead of bluntly saying there are no appointments left for the rest of the year

I had an appointment booked months in advance only to be left a voicemail on a Friday to say it was moved to the following Monday, 2 weeks earlier than planned. I called as it was too late notice and the staff was very rude and unhelpful in trying to book another later date stating they were booked out. They cancelled and expected me to drop everything and make arrangements to accomodate them without even an ounce of sorry.

Waited over one hour for my appointment. Dr Kumar does not understand the meaning of appointments. Completely disregards them, would much rather have chats to people first, and then he will take his appointments. If you book here, be prepared to wait until he finishes socialising before he is able to see you. Such a shame… I thought highly of this place until today. Complete waste of time. Would definitely avoid DR Kumar. Maybe it was a once off occurrence however these situations should not be occurring in professional workplaces. I have been waiting almost one year for my appointment to experience this. Will definitely be going elsewhere from now on.

I don't recommend this place at all & I would give a minus zero of I could. They will drop your child as a patient when you are in need, can you even imagine that? Despite that, We were seeing Dr Kumi & at first she was so lovely & helpful, later I realised she wasn't very consistent & often on her mobile. The practice has two locations & on & off They send you to the wrong location, which when your baby is unwell that isn't a pleasant experience. In one day we were sent to the wrong location, then had to make another trip to the correct one only to wait 2 hours to them be told the dr was leaving to attend hospital. We go home to then be called to go back in. All very unprofessional.
Recently our son had a sore foot & because we did not know how it happened the hospital kicked up a fuss. You can appreciate as a parent kids often get hurt & parents have no idea how. I was very upfront with Dr Kumi about the whole thing & tried to lean on her for support as she has witnessed my son being very well cared for & she has seen how pedantic I am as a loving parent. Dr kumi kicked us whilst we were down. Dr Kumi called me stating that this practice has a policy to No longer look after our son for no good reason other than that our little boy hurt his foot and we don't know how. This is a flawed design to make good first time parents feel bad. Please do not bother going here. Find a pedeatrician that will stick by your child no matter what. I look forward to taking this further.

My Son has seen Dr Kumi at the Oran Park Clinic a few times now. She is kind, caring, patient and very thorough. She actually listens to any concerns, takes time to follow up health-plans and looks at the child holistically. She also looks at the family dynamics, not just the presenting child. Very happy with her service and professionalism. Makes travelling for 40 minutes to see her worthwhile. My Daughter is about to start seeing her as well after she noted my concerns about her. Highly recommend Dr Kumi

Dr Kumar is a humble and kind doctor. He explained patiently and took his time to make sure we understand everything. He overall cares for his patients health and well-being.

He respects parents view and highly recommend him.

Dr Kumi has been a lifesaver for my fussy little boy. I saw her when he was just a month old and instead of saying it is normal at that age like most doctors said, she took the time to examine him thoroughly and instantly found the cause for his fussiness. He is 3 months now and a completely different child. She is approachable between appointments too, so if any concerns do pop up she’s always willing to help.
Definitely worth visiting her if you have even the slightest concern in your child’s health at any age!
