Invoice was issued quite late. Due date stated at 1st of August 2024 on a letter. But, this letter has been delivered via mail on 20.08.2024. How ridiculous. Especially SLHD Account Department has to improve its procedures. Even they sent me a letter over the due.

The person working with student verifications had no idea what they are doing, they're turning a simple process into the most complicated bureaucracy.
I doubt you're even a registered healthcare worker...

The lady who talked with me through the phone is unbelievably rude, blaming me for the wrong spelling of their name and yelling at me, makes me super uncomfortable . No matter who is the manager in this clinic, you need to find some one who is more educated to do this work, tell them never treat people with rudeness and speak politely . Otherwise you are hurting your patients

I have attended this hospital (RPAH) for a long list of unfortunate health issues. This includes multiple sclerosis, lung nodules, immunosuppression, sleep aponea treated with CPAP therapy, asthma, chronic pericarditis related to Covid vaccines and most recently emergency surgery for a perforated appendix and bowel resection with a major infection in my abdominal cavity. I have been fortunate to come across remarkable doctors and nurses which I have paid my due respect and gratitude towards, so it requires a great deal of malpractice to service an event such as this. As stated I have only recently had an appendectomy and bowel resection however I am extremely unwell and given my long list of health conditions and most concerning immunosuppression. I had an appointment with the surgical upper GI team today as well as an urgent scan to manage my abdominal condition post surgery printed on my discharge letter. I attended as scheduled and was the first patient in the clinic. When I arrived they stated that my appointment had been rescheduled which I was not informed. I explained that I have complications relating to the surgery and detailed my health status as a matter of concern. They asked me to be seated, I watched several people being checked in while I waited. The practice manager by the name of Grace stated my appointment was rescheduled which I was not informed of and had no response as to who rescheduled and no concern to assist me. She reluctantly checked myself in and stated this was a favour towards me. I waited over an hour, I then asked where I was on the list to which she stated that it is again a favour and I must wait for all other patients to be seen, regardless of the fact I was the first attendee and that my discharge letter detailed my appointment. She provided no empathy or care towards my delicate medical status and the serious risk it posed me to stay in the hospital for prolonged periods of time being immunosuppressed. As stated I also had an urgent scan booked today because of the severe pain I am experiencing, I have lost 4.5kg in 14 days, am unable to stomach food daily and am extremely nauseated. As I am immunosuppressed and had scans booked I was unable to sit and wait for a list of thirteen people to be seen first, she said to me in a belligerent manner that it is unfair to have them wait but that it was fair for me to wait even though I had evidence of my booking and was first to attend, regardless of my appointment being booked and being the first attendee, and more so the urgency of my health condition. Sadly this is an absolutely atrocious department of the hospital that has a manager that makes dangerous and reckless decisions in the triage of patient care and furthermore a disorganised and chaotic office administration. I now have to consider that given my condition that I may have no choice but to be admitted through the Emergency Department which is far from ideal in order to avoid development of serious complications to my health at my own detriment. Given the amazing efforts of many other departments that have saved my life, this is one department that may rob me of my life, I have been most unfortunate at my age of 30 to have experienced such health conditions however have been most diligent at managing such conditions. It is devastating that the recklessness, lack of organisation and lack of empathy and intellect is the basis of this department, my sincere apologies to those that must encounter such a person as Grace and such a department. I myself have had a career base in luxury service and government administration, to which I am currently off work due to health conditions, however I take care and provide my best efforts in my work, truly disgusting that this is considered acceptable care in this country, I can assure that should my condition deteriorate it will be due to the care provided above, or lack of care which it would seem, these are the people that you literally trust with your life, nothing could be of any more value, absolute recklessness and malpractice of human life.
