I was a client of Nathan fleisch at the time of my son's death ? I had to wait long after my appointment time ⏲️ you never get seen when your appointment is! You can't make any other arrangements / appointments due to you will not know when you be seen here! There was no compassion, empathy ? ? or support! In fact the opposite! In the middle of trying to deal the legal issues involved in resolving how and when my son died! Nathan fleisch stopped ✋️ my adhd medication ? causing me to have excessive side effects, and making it impossible to deal with the legal issues or do anything! Shameful treatment of a grieving parent

Dr. Fleisch is often several hours late to our appointments. I sit in the waiting room for hours past our appointment time, until he finally admits me. He also told me he doesn't do TeleHealth consults, but I found out from the Reception team that he offers them to other patients. I live far away and he has not been accommodating. Additionally, the one time I was late to an appointment due to a road accident on my commute, he refused to see me, despite him being constantly late. These experiences with him have negatively impacted my mental health.

Dr Nathan Fleisch is a caring, compassionate and trauma informed Psychiatrist. I am truly grateful for the safety, respect and support he has provided me.

I had put off seeing a Psychiatrist for fear of being judged, labelled and over medicated. Dr Fleisch has built my trust and restored my faith in psychiatrists.

My first appointment was extremely difficult sharing trauma that has occurred in my life and identifying the issues I was struggling with. Dr Fleisch was attuned, asking for consent before asking difficult questions, and responded when he observed discomfort by offering me breaks, water or to move into a different room with more space. He gave me the time I needed. I felt validated and seen.

I’ve not once been labelled by Dr Fleisch. Instead he sees me as a person, and reminds me of my potential, beneath the struggles I experience . Having been labelled and dismissed by a lot of medical professionals I’m truly grateful for his kindness, and empowering me.

I’m still on my healing journey, but thanks to Dr Fleisch, I am coming out of burnout, building resilience and am more grounded now I’m not in as much overwhelm.

We need more mental health professionals like Dr Fleisch.

The reception team are also incredible. Always so nice and caring! (They also don’t judge if you nearly lose the toilet key which I accidentally did on my first appointment).

I have been seeing Dr Fleisch for long enough to know that he is the best in the business and he cares for each and every one of his patients and their family.

I am only reviewing as I am a little upset that his google reviews have gone from 5 star to 3.9 star just from a couple of disgruntled patients who haven’t even seen him!
It is my experience in life that if you wish to see the best doctor you have to wait, the best doctors pretty much always run late! Sad reality but it’s true! Perhaps if people are so short on their time they should be the first person booked in that day and be on time!! Just saying…..Am a bit disappointed in google that they have lowered one of my favourite Doctors and my favourite Psychologists Vivien Suttner from patients who didn’t even have the patience to wait for the Doctor! I do not blame the Doctor for not replying to their email! The patient basically cancelled / walked off because she / he was impatient. ‍♀️5 stars ⭐️ they both need 100 stars each. The mental health system is getting full from the way the world is right now - single working mothers are homeless, single people are homeless, the cost of living is placing a pressure on everyone and people are being evicted because they can’t afford rent increases of $200 $300 and $400. People need to be kind, have a heart ❤️ and be patient for the good doctors that’s all I’m saying! Peace ☮️ out. Amen
