Fantastic doctors especially Dr Elle with support in taking charge of my mental health. Been phenomenal in getting the medical and physical care needed for my family and myself when needed. I have been going to Newcastle Family Practice ever since I moved to the area 6 years ago.
I have had nothing but positive experiences here.
The receptionists are kind and keen to help.
When my regular doctor is away, other doctors are very comforting and thorough.

Cannot understand where the 1 star reviews are coming from as every single one of my appointments here have been welcoming and highly professional.

I have been going to Newcastle Family Practice since moving from Tasmania over 12 years at least. After a few mediocre experiences with other Drs my daughter got me into this practice.
They are the best..so efficient,just get onto it if you have a concern or problem,so easy to talk too they really look after you no worries. I have recommended a couple of my friends to this practice too. I can highly recommend anyone that is not satisfied with their Drs to go and check them out. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Very satisfied patient.

My husband and I have been going to this practice for 5 years, having seen a few different GPs and registrars as they have moved on over time. We are now both patients of Dr Jefferies. We can’t rate the doctors highly enough, they have always been thorough, used appropriate references to guide our care, offered investigations and referrals where appropriate. I have now registered our newborn with ease to have our whole family seeing the same GP.

My husband Michael is a pensioner NFP have his details. He was charged as a working person and when he said he was a pensioner the receptionist said she could not refund the excess money he paid. If the receptionist was doing the job properly this person would ask are you a pensioner ? Do you have a health care card ? Instead of which the receptionist is making out it’s the customers problem ? We don’t know how your systems work .There are some great doctors at this clinic and we are wondering what has happened to the staff who are older and have better customer service ?

Excellent surgery , that I have attended for over 20 years - Excellent Drs and nurses who are understanding and have always been caring and professional-
The reception staff are welcoming,polite and helpful in what is a stressful role.
