I like Dr. Brar as an experienced doctor and as a person.. Having said that, I'm very disappointed with the incapability of the front desk as well as the PA to refer my simple request to her correctly. After calling in for 3 times, I still gave them the benefit of the doubt... went in and left a hand written note to avoid any further misunderstandings. They were going to scan it and forward to doctor but, 3 weeks later nobody has called me back yet as they were supposed to and I'm still waiting for my prescription!..

I came in to my appointment super nervous. But the staff here made me feel better with great reassurance. I hadn't had a prenatal care appointment in a while since my insurance hadn't kicked in yet but over all even setting the appointment a couple weeks ago was easy and the receptionist was real nice. My appointment was today, mid day and coming in everyone was friendly and kind. I had a good experience. Clean and calm environment. I'm sorry if I don't spell their name out right but assistant Angalicia, the ultra sound tech Courtney and Natasha CNM were all amazing, answered my questions and made me feel good. I was able to see my baby through ultrasound which was amazing and I'm soo happy I came here for one of my first prenatal care check ups . Thank you ?

I cannot recommend Natasha Starnes enough! From the moment I met her, I felt completely at ease. She is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly listens to your concerns. Throughout my pregnancy, she was always available to answer my questions, provide guidance, and ensure I felt informed and confident in every decision.

Her calm and reassuring demeanor made such a difference during labor, and I felt completely supported every step of the way. The personal attention and care she provides are unparalleled. I truly felt like she was there not just as a medical professional, but as a trusted partner in bringing my baby into the world.

Thank you, Natasha for being such an integral part of this life-changing experience. You made all the difference, and I am forever grateful!

I have been a patient of this office since 2020 and I love this place! Through the birth of my son, miscarriages and now a new pregnancy, I am so grateful for this place. I feel completely comfortable knowing the staff are women. The front desk ladies are AH-mazing, but my personal favorite is Natasha, one of the midwives! These ladies are hard workers and make me feel appreciated every time I’m here. Thank you for you due diligence!

I've been coming here since I was a teenager for birth control. I'm on my 3rd pregnancy with AZ Maternity and Women's Clinic, I wish I found a different office during my first pregnancy. This is the 4th time I have expected to see an ultrasound for one of my babies (20w) and once again I'm sat in a room 20 minutes after my appointment time and not even for the right appointment. Last time my doctor wasn't even here and they failed to tell me that until an hour and a half into me waiting. This place is a joke and a waste of my time. Looking for a new office right after this review. Call me dramatic but how do you tell a pregnant you're here to help when that's all you never do. Plus I have anemia, they failed to mention that, nearly passed out the other day and all they could tell me was "eat more and take more breaks" really?

Do NOT go here unless you want them to tell you all of your concerns and symptoms are “normal” in pregnancy. Because of their mal-practice and carelessness I lose my first baby, I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. I almost lost my life because of them ignoring the signs I was experiencing, as a first time mom I trusted them and believed them when they told me everything was normal and that I was fine, they didn’t bother doing additional testing, when I decided to go to the hospital myself it was too late, I was miscarrying at 21 weeks, had a horrible infection and had to be put on IV antibiotics. They are the worst, the Dr is careless and won’t ever see you unless it’s urgent or too late. I spend nearly a week in the hospital giving birth to a baby I couldn’t bring home.

I strongly do not recommend this office. I’m 32 weeks and now switching providers. I really tried to stick with it, but each appointment got worse as my pregnancy progressed. Here are some of my frustrations… google wouldn’t let me add them all:

— I was originally told there are 4 delivering doctors and I’ll get to meet each of them alternating with each visit and that whichever doctor is on call when I’m in labor is who does my delivery. A lot of my appointments were not with any of those 4 delivering doctors, but with a “fill in.” So I never felt comfortable or connected to anyone who would be delivering my baby. Honestly, I enjoyed the “fill in” more than the actual delivering doctors I met.

— They do not routinely check your urine samples. Not once out of all my appointments (besides the first visit) did they ask me to leave a sample. This is my third pregnancy; I know this needs to be routine EACH visit so they can detect UTIs, preeclampsia, dehydration, diabetes, etc. I asked the doctor if I needed to be leaving a sample each visit and she responded with “you can if you want to.” Is this not dangerous? My last OB office detected a UTI with my urine sample. I had no symptoms of a UTI so thank goodness they made urine samples a routine. I do not understand why this office doesn’t do this.

— I asked them to prescribe me prenatal pills so my insurance would cover them. When I got the pills, the ingredients were terrible (including yellow 5, red 40 and other things I don’t think I should be intentionally feeding my baby). I called to ask if they can change the prescription to a better brand without all the additives. I was on hold for 15-20 min, then told “we can’t change the prescription, you’ll just need to do your own research.” This was extremely frustrating and dismissive. I now pay out of pocket for GOOD vitamins that will nourish my baby

— I started to have extreme arm pain/finger tingling which was resulting in very little sleep. I know this can be a symptom of preeclampsia, so I called to schedule a check up to be on the cautious side. I was told they couldn’t see me and to go to urgent care. I said this is a pregnancy concern, what is urgent care going to do for me? It doesn’t have to be today, but can I schedule later this week when you have an opening? Nope. Again told me to see urgent care (I didn’t). At my next scheduled appointment, I started to talk to Dr. about my arm and she quickly says “it’s carpal tunnel it’s normal with pregnancy.” I said I don’t think it’s carpal tunnel because it’s my ring finger all the way to my elbow. Carpal tunnel affects different fingers and the wrist. She insisted it’s normal. Didn’t give me any remedies to try or any sort of advice. She rushed the appointment and I got no answers. At my next visit I found out she wrote in my notes that I have carpal tunnel and that I needed a wrist brace (she never discussed the wrist brace with me). I ended up doing my own research and came to my own conclusion I’m dealing with cubital tunnel syndrome, which is your ulnar nerve being compressed in your elbow by over using it (I’m a barista/baker) along with the swelling that comes from being pregnant. I ordered myself an elbow brace which is helping tons. I lost weeks of sleep and wish they could’ve helped me figure this out sooner. Apparently she wasn’t capable of listening to my concerns and give me a proper diagnosis… I diagnosed myself. The next doctor I saw was able to confirm my research and that it’s cubital tunnel syndrome and that it’s very rare they see that with pregnancy.

-There are a few people I will give good credit to: the ultra sound tech is very sweet and knowledgeable. The “fill in” doctor I saw (I think his name was Antoni) was very caring and thorough. He’s the only one who checked in to make sure I’m taking my vitamins, eating a healthy diet, drinking water etc. Jenasee is a midwife who I met once for a few minutes and I had a good experience with her. Otherwise, very disappointed with this office and glad I finally made the decision to leave.
