I recently completed the Diploma in Emergency Healthcare, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The program was incredibly well-structured, offering a perfect balance of theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical training. The instructors were highly experienced professionals, bringing years of real-world expertise to every lesson, critical review on assignments while making the content engaging and relevant through hundreds of hours of real life simulations, workshops and clinical placements.

The Certificate III and IV streams are great starting points for those that are new to the industry or who are wanting to ease back into intensive study as they both articulate into the Emergency Healthcare Diploma. The course material has ensured I am well-prepared for situations I might encounter in the field and provides a sound foundation enabling flawless transition into an Emergency Medical Technician role i now work in as an employee.

The theory and simulations also provide an extensive framework in pre-hospital assessment and intervention that instills confidence in collaboratively contributing to the clinical decision making with our Paramedic and Registered Nurse primary leads. This has been valuable not only in patient transport but also in on-site medic duties at public music festivals, sporting events, festivals, entertainment and defence force hub settings we work in on a day to day basis.

The skills and structure of the program not only prepares us for careers in a pre-hospital setting but also in understanding our role within the handover of care to our emergency service counterparts and in-hospital stakeholders.

Any questions or uncertainties at the institution were always met with patience and clarity, and I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to enter the field of patient transport, first response and/or foundational studies towards AHPRA registration.

I had an incredible journey with AMR while studying for my Diploma of Emergency Health Care. The course was both comprehensive and hands-on, providing me with a solid foundation in emergency care. The instructors were experienced professionals who went above and beyond to ensure I had the knowledge and skills to succeed.

The face-to-face workshops really help me practice my skills and gain a better understanding of the theory content.

I chose Absolute Medical Response for my Diploma of Emergency Health Care, which I recently completed. If I could, I'd do it 100 times over! The training and experience I gained was incredible and the staff are all so supportive. For my placement hours I got to experience car races, music festivals, horse events, and so much more. I learnt so many things and the trainers take the time to really explain everything. The scenarios were fantastic, and some have even played out in real life! I highly recommend AMR!

I enrolled into the AMR diploma course and was instantly met with enthusiastic members of staff. The guidance and support through the extensive learning material made the online study so rewarding to be a part of. The face to face training helped bring together the theory and practice. The clinical experience of the trainers was an invaluable part of my learning.
After completing the course and becoming an EMT I gained casual employment with AMR where I was again welcomed as a valuable member of the team where all team members work together in a very professional manner.

I did my advanced first aid and cpr here and would definitely recommend. They are amazingly knowledgable and friendly and helpful. The location was spacious and had plenty of parking spots.

I just want to thank them again for the fantastic care of my Dad (who is in palliative care)

We’ve had a few patient transfers this week and this team was by far the best
