I have been a patient a Morpeth Family Practice for a number of years know. The interaction with staff has always been polite, curious and professional. There was a slight delay with my appointment but I put this down to the Doctors showing due diligence towards their patients and not rushing the patients through.
I have nothing but praise for Doctor Brennan who treated me with a very caring and professional manner. I was not rushed through or treated as a number, I felt comfortable and knew I was receiving the best care possible.
Dr Brennan has never rushed my appointments and has always given me his full and very professional attention.
Morpeth Family Medical Practice is true caring family medical practice.

I just wanted to comment about this Practice. I’ve always found staff and Doctors very good. Having the pathology on site is also a plus. In particular I would like to mention Dr Brennan. I’ve always found him a very thorough GP. He really covers all the bases when it comes to Managing overall health and is an excellent diagnostic Dr.
Wait times are just the new norm. Generally, I will ring when it is close to my appointment time to see how the schedule is looking that way I don’t waste time waiting too long. I do this for most other medical appointments.

Fantastic medical care from excellent professionals, what more could you ask for? Occasionally the wait might concern a little but once in seeing your doctor the reason is clearly evident. Dr Brennan cares so much about his patients that he investigates every possible ailment and follows up your results in a caring and compassionate manner. And that takes time. I would recommend Morpeth Medical to any one that needs a great doctor.

Have been a patient of Dr Brennan for several years now. I have a number of complex medical issues which Dr Brennan takes the time to sort through. He will always take the time to investigate any concerns and organise referrals to specialists.

Always over booked.
I went in for my app and have been referred to a specialist where I was instructed from Maitland hospital to contact Morpeth once again for another referral elsewhere.
I've spoken to Morpeth after where I was told they would be in contact, heard nothing.
I'm now on the phone, spoken to one receptionist for her to put me on hold for over 15 minutes, for another to pick up and ask what I was after Still on the phone waiting.
Do not care about their patients at all clearly, feel let down I trusted this practice for so many years.

One doctor in particular here speaks to some patients as if they are dirt. No respect whatsoever and refuses to listen or treat a patient like an intelligent person. Extremely dated and meagre medical advice given here. I had to do all my own research with a new major diagnosis. Suffice it to say, after 3 years of hoping the service would improve I left and found a much better medical practice.

I have found Dr Brennan both very professional and extremely knowledgeable. This is why I travel long distances to see Keith as I can’t get the same level of care from my previous GP. Keith has diagnosed conditions that previous doctors had dismissed and referred me to appropriate specialist services. I will continue to travel four hours to receive his care and advise and very much recommend Dr Brennan to other patients.

Extremely frustrating when you wait a minimum 1 hour in the practice every visit.

I would much rather be told they are fully booked then take an overbooked appointment. Emergencies happen but this is becoming incredibly consistent.

Let alone waiting 2 hours with a sick child.
