A key concern with this medical center is the consistently long waiting times, which typically range from 30 minutes to 90 minutes. In today's tech-driven world, they should consider using an app to provide real-time updates on appointment statuses. Time is valuable, and these delays feel like an unnecessary waste.

The worse doctor practice I’ve been too.
I had an appointment and when I came they said I hadn’t been booked in? I told them I received a text to fill my details after my phone call to make my appointment. The receptionist said yes that is usually the process but I haven’t been booked in. She then put me down as a “walk in” and I waited 2 hours for my consultation. When I went in the doctor, she told me that they had booked 3 people in one time for her and she was running extremely behind. She told me she didn’t have time for my problem and that we had to be quick and to book another appointment if I wanted to consult more for why I came. So that I did, I made another appointment, came again and the exact same thing happened. This place is a joke and they don’t care about patients. Don’t waste your time.

Received immediate and good care. My little one was sick and we went as walked in patient. I thought it will be a long wait, but the reception and the nurse took us in the treatment room right away. They gave the little one some pain killer to ease the pain and an ice lolly, while waiting for the doctor. We are very happy for the service. A big thank you to Sue, the nurse.

Generally a good experience but today was not one of those days. Appointment booked at 12.30pm and got seen after an hour after multiple check-ins with the reception to understand the delay. The response from the reception is a standard response of "you're next in the queue" and only to find out in the end that the doctor has skipped us. It was frustrating as the appointment was booked to accommodate the convenient time for us as I had afternoon meetings to attend. What would have worked is for the reception to investigate properly to see which patient is in the room currently being checked-on and also even checking-in with the doctor if he has us in his queue rather than the reception assuming we were. The red alert should be at the half hour wait when the patient is following up as the expectation is that an advanced medical centre will adhere to the appointment booking times. This is definitely a big room for improvement!

Prompt and professional.
I had an accident in the bathroom.
Resulting in a big / deep cut.
I called ahead and the staff were very helpful.
They took me in straight away,
10 stitches later they saved me hours of wait at the hospital. Thank you so much Hammondville Medical Centre.

Convenient location for Wattle Grove and Hammondville residents but very limited in what they actually do. I found reception to be quite friendly. However, most doctors don’t want to spend more than 10 minutes with you. Great if you already know what you need but if you are worried about health you may need to go somewhere else. They are great for giving out certificates, for renewing existing prescriptions and for referrals to other places but not for any kind meaningful diagnosis or treatment.
