My hospital visit was the best experience I have ever had. Every nurse was attentive and caring. The food was made to order and brought to the room quickly, hot and delicious. The room was comfortable and private. I was concerned about having my surgery in a smaller facility, but all my concerns vanished when I experienced the staff.

My Father needed to have some intestinal surgery done here. They staff were friendly and answer all of our questions. They also treated my father very well and tried to keep him as comfortable and pain free as possible. The private room is laid out very good with a couple of TV screens that show the patient status and an actual TV. The room was bright, clean and has a nice view of the outside. It also has it's own bathroom and a closet to keep the patient's articles. You are only allowed two visitors at a time but there was seating for more.

I was never seen by a doctor. I do expect that when I come into the emergency department, that is extremely expensive, to see a real doctor. I don't understand how quickly I was given a band aid and sent home. I drove an entire hour based on a visit that I had last year. I was impressed and thought that they had the best doctors (I saw Dr. Hamilton but they refused to tell me if I could see him)
Bottom line: UNHAPPY WITH SERVICE. WILL NOT COME BACK.

My experience with Oviedo Medical Center was the best! Dr. Maniam and all of the attending staff that assisted me while there for an outpatient procedure were amazing!! Absolutely an amazing Medical Center. I highly recommend if you are having surgery have it here. The entire staff made me feel at ease and were just overall so nice. I was there for a lesion removal from my left breast.

I'm totally disappointed in the care I received from the ER doctor ! I was diagnosed with blood clots in both lungs and was having a hard time breathing! The Dr sent me home on blood thinners and said it would resolve itself! Later that evening I had to be rushed back to the ER at Advent Heath spiting up blood and could not breathe at all! They could not believe that I had not been admitted by Oviedo Hospital. Needless to say, I was admitted for five days due to the blood clots in my lungs. Oviedo totally dropped the ball. Please be careful with going to this hospital! I could of died ! Dr Shahbaz Yousaf should be totally reprimanded and fired from Oviedo Hospital! 10-19-24
