It's always hard when your child is struggling. College Hill was so great for my son. They truly care about your child. I would definitely recommend any family that needs services to please try here. My sons first time here was a 6 week stay and his second time was around 10 weeks I think. He has a lot of different challenges and they always make sure he is okay. I have not had any issues at college hill.

I went here twice as a child(ages 7 and 9) for severe anger issues as an autistic kid with adhd. I went here early last decade though so I don't know what it's like now. First time I don't remember much but It was Valentine's day and I dreamt of me and moms car falling off of a bridge. Second time I got admitted I was almost jumping out of my gown with joy to go back. I quite enjoyed my experience. Food was alright, they let me watch TV all night and I had fun. They had 100 calories nabisco crisps and splash as snacks and I get nostalgic when I eat them now. I know, I'm a little weirdo for enjoying it but just know, the mental hospital can be fun. They do lock people in rubber rooms though(no rats). I was locked multiple times. I found my all time favorite show here. A few cons, they're wasteful. They make you change your socks, toilet paper, and soap everyday. I used to hide mine when the cleaning people came by. I still have 5 grippy sock pairs because of that. Also, showers in the shared room is just a shower head in the open bathroom. They also took my book and never gave it back. It was not even mine, It was my teacher's that I brought from her room. They don't let you wear your clothes or leave the floor unless you have 3 good days. First time I got to leave the floor, they have a gym, game room, playground, etc. I got a doll with a gown too still have it somewhere. But ya know, It's a hospital. I think they should make a psych ward resort or something, though. It's cool.

I hated it here, they didn't even treat me, all I did was just wake up, eat, go to groups, eat, go to groups, and eat, etc. It is the most horrible mental hospital I've ever gone to. I also felt way more suicidal after.

I was locked up here against my will in 2012-2013. I was treated like a criminal. I wasn't a patient, I was an inmate. I went in for a schizophrenic episode I had, I came out suicidal. Welcome to Hell. It reminds me a lot of "Demented Hills" from that movie Good Burger.

P3N is one of the best inpatient things looking back made me so heartfully happy, best time of my life. Went from basically barley getting out of bed to being excited to wake up in the morning. Being there was so great and the nurses truly made me feel good and loved. Of course it's not all good some of the doctors truly didn't seem to care but others truly did. Its truly a mix bag but all my friends who went there separately share this sentiment. I hope everyone here got better, I wish everyone could have a great experience but I believe it's a personality type thing issue.

If I could give it a zero I would! Absolutely horrible! My daughter was inpatient and allowed to have scissors unsupervised in her room!!! Was also taken to the gym in the evening with a male staff member unsupervised to play!!!! Not to mention the visiting room with her was disgusting! So dirty you don't want to touch anything in there and want to shower after you leave!

The staff and this hospital changed my life. I’m known here and I’ve met lots of staff who’ve pointed me in the right direction. After being put through long nights and long days inpatient, not everyday was perfect but I remember certain days that shaped who I have become. Wanting to be here on earth and wanting life because the staff made sure I was doing ok. They believed in me. They cared about me. I’ve always wanted to come back just one more time to thank my fellow staff and see them but they’ve moved on. No matter how angry I was I want to thank the doctors, social workers, mhs, and other staff. I know it wasn’t easy but I do look back and am glad I was inpatient here.
