I have been seeing Dr Burcher 33 years . We go way back . Always found him and his wife extremely pleasant. Staff were welcoming and I had no problem. Patients need to realise that staff are under alot of pressure sometimes and may have a bad day here and there . Not the end of the world! We are blessed to even be able to access medical care in this country. Be grateful for this ?

Visited the Pain Clinic & Dr Suta. Signage could be a little clearer inside the building. Great staff and Dr Suta was marvellous. Parking is an issue, though. A few more disability parking spots would be nice. It took us time to get out of the car park. And be warned the car park is a giant maze. More an irritation then actually a horror, just something to be aware of. I was really ecstatic to find there was a great pain clinic so close to home.

If I could give a zero I would. Receptionist Sheryl is extremely rude, abrupt and condescending. We were met with hostility as soon as we met the desk. Perfect example of someone that hates their job and should not be in this industry as miserableness oozes from every pore. I have not needed to see a doctor for well over 10yrs so I don’t understand all the modalities. I made the error of not turning up with a Medicare card, I assumed that having a form of identification and private health would suffice. I understand this was my error but I don’t believe this gave Sheryl license to be rude! As a business owner I would be absolutely mortified if one of my employees behaved like this.

EDIT: The practise manager just contacted me. Quote "Do you not have better things to do with your time than to write a google review"

Wow! How extremely unprofessional. Does this mean Mariners Medical that google reviews are purely only for positive interactions? I was also put on a guilt trip on how I made Sheryl upset with my review and how would I feel if someone made a review about me. What about how I felt when I walked into the practice and was met with hostility and rudeness!

Note I have never made a negative review like this before but I believe it is warranted.

This practice is like a fish - It rots first from the head. Avoid at all costs.

I take my Aunty to see Dr Ray. He is very professional & caring. Which I appreciate & so does my aunty. The receptionist staff are very professional & most of the time happy. Unfortunately sometimes they are under pressure. But I identify with that, so I take it in my stride. Great practice.

All staff have been very polite and seem very hard working from my experience. Two of the doctors I’ve seen have been thorough during their consults. Receptionist have been as helpful as they can be within their power. I couldn’t have asked for more really.

I was overseas for several months as my parents passed away and I had to organise personal business. When I came back for an appointment here, the manager gave me a complete attitude problem, and gave me instructions on how to transfer my records to a new clinic. She also demanded to know in front of everyone in the waiting room about why I haven't been back in several months. I don't see why my personal life outside the clinic is any of their business let alone why they give patients an attitude problem if they haven't visited in a while. They sound like they're hard up for business. Definitely won't be dealing with anyone at this clinic again nor do I want to ever talk to the manager about my concerns! Never been to this clinic since!

I visited Dr Bourne at this office for the first time last week. I found the girl at the front desk (Kahla) very pleasant and helpful. The office seemed to be running smoothly and I got to see my doctor at the scheduled time. I was extremely pleased with the actual consultation as well. Overall I am very happy with my first impressions
