Dr Ghannoum has been my attending GP for well over 10 years.
He has been amazing helping me navigate life's many twists and turns whilst being an extremely competent and knowledgeable GP.
He is attentive, experienced, knowledgeable, compassionate and empathetic.
A rare and precious find just like our family GP was like in the country more than 60 years ago.

Great centre, easy to get to and plenty of parking spaces. I always see Dr. Emad Ghannoum who has been my GP for the past 8 years even before he joined this centre. Dr. Ghannoum is very thorough in his investigation and always takes his time to listen, analyse and finally provide a comprehensive care plan. The friendly reception desk staff are always pleasure to deal with, helpful and always responsive. Highly recommended medical centre.

Dr. Ghannoum is very caring and listens to his patients very well. With his meticulous attention to detail in ordering diagnostic tests, played a pivotal role in identifying my lung cancer at an early stage.

He referred me to the best specialist and just had a successful lobectomy. On my way to the road to recovery.

I can't praise Dr. Ghannoum enough for doing an outstanding job. Highly recommended.

Dr Ghannoum has been my GP for over 10 years. I initially saw him at Macquarie Medical Centre, and I followed him to his new practice at Macquarie Park Medical Centre in late 2022.

I like him because he is very thorough in his work. Rather than accept results without question, he will review them and ask questions of his patient to gain a better understanding, and to improve my understanding of the consequences.

The pharmacist at the inhouse pharmacy at Macquarie Medical Centre told me that Dr Ghannoum was the best doctor in the practice.

He shows concern for his patients' well-being. He is patient and takes time to explain. Let me give you a couple of examples.

Firstly, he told me that my toenails, which had fungus, would be detrimental to my health, particularly as I have a cardiac problem. He arranged for me to see a podiatrist. I never thought that my toenail fungus could cause inner health problems. Dr Ghannoum picked up this issue when we were having a general conversation about my health. Secondly, I fell asleep in my car after running an errand, and so he suspected sleep apnea. We completed a questionnaire describing my sleeping habits etc and he arranged an overnight monitoring. Despite the information in the questionnaire, the result came back 'no problem'. He found that very strange given my responses, and he has referred me to a sleep specialist.

The treatment I receive from Dr Ghannoum shows that he is a caring doctor, with concern for his patients. He warned me when he saw I was becoming pre-diabetic, and arranged for me to consult a dietition to advise me about the steps to reduce my risk of diabetes.

I am very happy with his treatment, and I hope he stays in his current practice for a long time.

Dr Ghannoum has been my GP for a long time, and he does more than a GP usually does. I first saw him at Macquarie Medical Centre for a number of years, and then when he moved to MPMC I followed him to the new practice. He has excellent medical experience, therefore he always gives me proper care and good advice for medical treatments and preventions.

He is a kind of doctor who is professionally treating his patients and aiming for his patients' best interest. He is very thorough in his examination and advice. In my view, he always gives the best treatment options for his patients.

In 2017, I was referred to a hospital by Breastscreen and I was monitored by a specialist for five years. Each year the results were kept in the hospital and not sent to my GP. After five years of monitoring, my case was considered nothing to worry about, and I was discharged from hospital records. My specialist advised me to continue yearly monitoring with my GP. Last year, which was the first year after the specialist's advice, and after viewing my breast mammogram and ultrasound, Dr Ghannoum advised me to approach my breast specialist for a proper decision to manage my breasts issue. As a result and as a preventative measure, I had double mastectomies, and so he saved me from possible cancer (35 to 40% chance according to my specialist), plus my mother also had breast cancer. With Dr Ghannoum's explanation and guidance, I knew how to approach my specialist. It's a pity that the specialist needed the prompting from Dr Ghannoum to agree with his analysis.

I do not know how to thank him enough!
