I booked online the night before and got an appointment with a marvellous doctor. (Dr CM) The nurse (Rhonda) performed a treatment for me. Both were excellent . The admin staff were so helpful and nice. All of this was over the busy Christmas break when getting an appointment is normally quite tricky. Thanks again - would highly recommend 🙂

Had to give the lowest rating possible due to a very poor experience. Avoid Dr Tsang at all costs. Did not expect this kind of behaviour from the Medical professional and zero accountability from the reception staff. Very poorly managed and unprofessionally run practice. Hope the practice manager take note and take appropriate action.

I’ve noticed that appointment management at this practice could use some improvement. Waited for an hour with a confirmed appointment at the practice and couldn't see the doctor who was still taking patients who came after me with appointments taken for later. Enhancing these aspects could lead to a more efficient experience for both patients and staff. I hope these concerns will be addressed to improve overall service.

I’ve seen Dr Htwe for many years, she is a great doctor. But the clinic management team doesn’t do a good job, a confirmed appointment with out of pocket charge usually never on time, the longest waiting time is almost an hour.

Had a terrible experience with Dr David Rooper today at the Macquarie Medical Centre. Wish I had seen the reviews before I run in to this practice.

I have been having severe dry eye problem recently and have followed up with my optometrist at the Macquarie centre once a week for three weeks now. Since there was no improvement with the proscribed eye drop, my optometrist wanted me to see a GP and test for autoimmune disease. My GP was not available until Oct, so I went to the Macquarie medical centre for an urgent GP consultation. This place is not bulk billed.

Dr Looper came out and called me by the wrong name, and I did not answer. 10mins later the receptionist called my name again and I stood up. I was told that the Dr has called me twice and I didn’t hear it. The receptionist even said “your may be in another world when the Dr’s calling your name.”. I double checked with the Dr, and found out that there was another patient with the same name, but different preferred name, which the Dr has muddled up.

I have expressed my concern and also other symptoms. Dr Looper showed no patience and just said “I can tell you that you don’t have any autoimmune disease.” Again I expressed that I’m quite concern cos the medication did not work like what the optometrist has expected, and he just said”then you need to use a stronger medication”. Then he requested the blood test and said “the result will not show anything I can tell you now, but I’ll let you do the blood test because you wanted it to be done”. I feel absolutely disgusted for being treated impatiently. The whole consultation last no more than 5min, and I paid 80+ dollars.

Please do not book with this Dr if you want to be heard about your concerns and be treated as a real patient.

Also highly recommend my own GP Dr Ying Yu at the Madison Medical Practice. Very thoughtful , caring and explains everything in detail.

We have been a patient at this practice for many years, however once they reverted to been a private practice, they no longer bulk bill existing customers, to get test/pathology results, requires a telehealth call and requires a fee to be paid before you get put thru to the Dr. If you call in after 1.00pm on a Sat or Sun, that's considered after hours and you get charge whatever the Dr sees fit. It seems that under the banner of 'private practice" its opportunity to rip patients off.

I've been visiting this medical centre for a long time. Front desk staff are usually very courteous and professional. Like any medical centre, doctors come and go so it is difficult to find a good doctor and stick to it.

The past year or so I've been seeing Dr Roper, he is genuinely the most knowledgeable, patient, considerate, articulate and interesting doctor I've met in a while. He may have his views and be to the point, however his knowledge and diagnosis is very comforting and logical, he listens without rushing you, investigates and treats the symptom if required. I thank and highly recommend Dr Roper to anyone visiting this centre for their medical needs.

Worst experience I have had visiting a GP, visited about a year ago to see Dr roper about setting up a mental health plan, and was met with "I'm not from here" so he could only write psychologists he recommended from his original practising area on a piece of paper, no mental health questionnaire taken Which after visiting I heard it's the correct practise. Being a male and neglecting my mental health the experience left me feeling even more helpless absolutely disgusting and this was my first run in with him on the second occasion I had a elbow injury to which I was wondering about due to excessive swelling and he as soon as I mentioned brushed it off and seemed to argue with me when I asked if I should get and xray to confirm that it wasn't serious. Not once did he touch or examine the area before making the conclusion his bed side manner was condescending and rude as if I was over reacting. After this experience I went and got a second opinion and the other doctor was amazing, helping me with the mental health plan and truly careing about the concerns i had taking all avenues to provide the reassurance i needed and to rule any possibilities out and due to this and an mri scan i have been notified I have nerve damage due to the injury so I'm glad I didn't take Dr ropers carefree know it all advice. I work as a landscaper and my hands are my lively hood, if you have any concern for yourself and want to be reassured of your worries or health concerns are valid then do not I repeat do not book an appointment with this out dated negligent doctor. Especially the amount you will be charged essentially you will be paying to be belittled and made to feel worse. He needs to retire or be asked to leave in my opinion after reading some of these other reviews especially the advice he had provided a pregnant patient is methods and advice is outdated and could cause someone serious harm.
