I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Viv Hung. I've been seeing Dr. Hung for over 7 years, and even after relocating to the western suburbs, I'm more than willing to drive an hour to keep seeing her. Dr. Viv makes each of her patients feel genuinely cared for, taking the time to understand every concern and providing compassionate, thorough attention. Her follow-up is remarkable—she dedicates as much time as needed to ensure her patients feel supported, making any wait absolutely worthwhile.

From my first appointment, she’s shown such warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail, which has always made me feel comfortable and understood. Dr. Hung’s depth of knowledge is impressive, and she explains everything in a clear and reassuring way that really helps ease any anxiety.

Not only is she attentive and kind, but she consistently goes above and beyond in follow-up, showing genuine concern for my health and well-being. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a skilled and compassionate doctor, and I highly recommend Dr. Hung to anyone seeking exceptional care!!

There are some good doctors although no one seemed to acknowledge herbal or traditional medicine not even a bit. I do regret seeing Dr Robin Park and paying $35 for the two minute visit. She definitely could have explored my issues with me as a GP and I was willing to as well but chose to simply handed me a referral and bye, next. I would only see her again if I know what I need and just want her to write me the prescription.

By far the most outstanding reception team and GP practice. Dr Viv and the reception team are one of the best things that’s ever happened to me. She is kind, thorough and highly intelligent. Reception team will give you better service then Apple (where you can open and product and return it for a refund). I’m so grateful and lucky to have this team look after me. 1 million stars for Myhealth Macquarie Park.

This reception is incredible I could do a TedTalk on how amazing this reception is.

This review was done at the urging of my daughter basically as a warning to others.

About a year ago I saw a doctor about a dark coloured lump on my head . She assumed it was most likely a wart and gave a me referral to a skin clinic in Chatswood which I booked inspite of the two and a half month waiting time.

Literally a day after, a student of mine ( who’s a doctor ) noticed the lump and immediately took a photo and sent to a colleague of his. This colleague saw me a week later and managed to get me in to a Dermatologist literally in 2 days. It wasn’t a wart , it was a melanoma and I’m lucky to be alive. It was stage 2 potentially going into stage 3. I had an operation and have recently finished a year long course of immunotherapy at the Melanoma Institute. If not for my doctor /student I could have been in big trouble. He couldn’t believe that no biopsy was done at the initial appointment.

There’s some good doctors there - but there’s bad doctors as well .
The moral - Choose your doctor carefully and get a second opinion. Don’t have any misguided loyalty towards them because at the end of the day - it’s purely transactional - they wont’ lose any sleep over a misdiagnosis - you’re just another number.

Extremely disappointed with Dr Robyn Park. My private health insurance fund was wiped out because of unnecessary actions done for me to be charged with such a huge amount. I could not believe she earned $250 with “prolonged service as claimed” because she went for lunch and called an ambulance despite giving her information that it is not emergency. Even the ambulance staff agreed to me that I know the term of my condition and it is not emergency. Such a huge loss of money! I will never go to this centre again, cannot trust again.

My review is in regards to Dr. John Chang, who was incredibly rude, blunt, dismissive and condescending throughout the short Telehealth call.

I needed a referral letter to see my chiropractic specialist due to my severe lower back pain, and Dr John Chang was the only doctor with availability that day (and for a good reason).

When I mentioned I wanted a referral to see my chiropractor, in his exact words he asked 'did your chiropractor send you here to get this referral? They like to play this game’.

I told him my chiropractor has diagnosed me with a Disc Bulge and he said ‘you're telling me he can tell you have a disc bulge just by visually looking at you?'

He explained that I need to have a chronic condition or have the pain for more than 6 months to get a referral, otherwise I can get a CT scan. When I asked if I have to pay out of pocket, he said it depends on the clinic (and didn’t give me a referral).

I said ‘you're kidding...' whilst I was thinking of my options, he then responded 'what am I kidding?’, so I asked again if my only option was to - either get a CT scan out of pocket, or be in pain for 6 months to be able to get a referral, he responded 'yes'.

In the end I decided to wait for my usual GP and thanked him for his time - he replied 'ha, ok cool' and hung up.

Last year my partner saw Dr John Chang because again, he was the only doctor with availability on the day. He suspected that my partner had some virus that is not covid but he took a covid swab without asking for consent, and failed to let him know that the covid swab would cost $125.

If you don’t want to be dismissed/disrespected or get overcharged without consent, avoid Dr John Chang at all cost - No patient should be spoken to like that.

On another note, Dr. Vivienne Hung is an absolute angel - she is caring and spends a lot of time asking questions to ensure she got all the details and examinations correctly - thank you for all you do!

When I came on Saturday 08/06/24 I waited over 2 hours to see the pathologist and people who came after me were seen before me as the receptionist gave them a lower number. I was told to come back in an hour and came back in 20 minutes and the receptionist didn’t seem impressed as she didn’t want lots of people waiting at reception. Very disappointed with the young girl handling reception with the braces and long black hair, such unethical behaviour.

Despite an initial mix-up regarding the gender assumption, I've continued to see Dr. Chung for multiple appointments, and I couldn't be more pleased with the care I've received.

Dr. Chung's friendly and patient-centric approach has made each visit a pleasant experience. His calm communication style and willingness to spend time explaining medical details have been invaluable to me. I appreciate how he creates an atmosphere where I feel comfortable asking questions and expressing concerns.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Darcy Chung to anyone seeking a knowledgeable, patient-focused general practitioner. Thank you, Dr. Chung, for your excellent care and commitment to your patients' well-being.
