Was sent here for a chest x Ray. It was not easy to find. I walked from Barons Art tube station and a local kindly directed me through the cemetery to a back entrance so I got there quickly in the end. I arrived early and was seen immediately and got my results by text a couple of hours later. Enjoyed the artwork and shop. Wished the escalators had been working and the lifts more efficient.

The hospital appeared clean and well kept.
Visited the chapel and the history zones setting out the generation of hospitals on the site.
Of note, details of David Livingston, Florence nightingale, some interesting brass plagues which previously hung over beds paid for by donors including a nameless medical student etc and some fine ceramics of various country scenes.

My appointment at the Charing Cross Hospital Cardiology Clinic was a rather negative experience for me. The cardiologist was running about 40 minutes late and, prior to calling out my name, he definitely apologized to all of his patients about him running late. However, he was rude and disrespectful to me because he didn't apologize to me about him running late and, therefore, I am wondering if he was discriminating against me because he could infer that I am a member of multiple discriminated against and marginalised minority groups. Also, he was rude and disrespectful to me because twice he put a word in my mouth regarding an important matter and he then conveyed the information in writing to one of my GPs, though I did politely repeat the correct information to him, which was just a single word. Also, I am gender diverse and the cardiologist told me that I was being mistitled on the hospital computer system, which was upsetting information for me to hear. Also, at one point during my appointment, I felt frightened about the way the cardiologist was communicating with me. Also, at the end of my appointment, I felt confused because he told me to 'follow the plan', but we had not previously discussed or even touched on any plan. Also, I was experiencing sensory overload and I am neurodivergent, but the clinic and the wing where the clinic was located was not a neurodivergent-friendly environment. Also, I saw a cardiology healthcare worker, but I felt negative about the way he attached something to one of my legs and he twice misgendered me. Also, the outpatients bookings team did not give me adequate information about the location of my cardiology appointment. Also, I was not satisfied about the service delivered to me by a receptionist. Finally, I am giving two stars because there definitely were positives about my appointment, which I am grateful for.

My sister in law went for a breast examination yesterday after being referred by the GP. When arriving she never felt so uncomfortable being in a hospital they rushed her in and out didn't even communicate with her. She felt patronised and unheard.
The lady didn't even examine her breast properly and didn't know anything and told my SIL that she is too young to get breast cancer?!?!?! Very unprofessional and unsympathetic!!

Clean and welcoming entrance with some very helpful and cheery ladies enthusiastically looking to assist visitors to the hospital.

The lifts (elevators for US visitors) are at the rear of the entrance hall past the Costa coffee outlet. They may be numerous, but they are painfully slow, so expect them to stop at floors where no-one boarding or alighting.

Parking, although available, is very limited, so I would recommend visitors use public transport rather than take the risk of missing an appointment because there is nowhere to park.

Despite the pressure the staff are obviously under, I didn't encounter a single person who wasn't cheery or helpful.

I was seen in the Physiotherapy Department by a young man called Liam who treated me with care, respect & great attention. I could not be more satisfied and, should I ever need to return to that department, I sincerely hope I am lucky enough to get Liam again. Highly recommended.

I had an urgent referral to the TIA Clinic and they were superb! An entire day co-ordinating a barrage of different tests across multiple departments was managed so smoothly - for me and every other patient in the clinic that day. A tour de force of organisation, care and good humour. The TIA Clinic nurses are to be congratulated!

Every single member of staff involved with helping me on the 12th August and throughout my whole time here I can not thank you enough . I came In by ambulance and spent the night in A&E under such a safe watchful eye of such beautiful caring reassuring people. My diagnosis upon tests was shocking and extremely upsetting to hear but was reassured and treated with such kindness and care and was made to feel safe. I from the very bottom of my heart would like to thank you all for being such beautiful people.. you make such a difference to the world ?
I remember the lovely French nurse in A&E Manon .. I knew I always would
