I was sent to ARV. Donald Coburn at Castle Hill from Hornsby Hospital with a broken leg only.
Personally I should have been sent to Mt Wilma. My leg was healed in February. Hornsby
Hospital did a stupid thing. The food here is terrible. I had to be moved because a dementia
Man was next to me. I’m in with with people who are sick ad dying for 13 months. Since m leg was healed in February I’ve sat. in a wheelchair. Exercises and walking you should be doing.

My experience in antenatal clinic is really worse. I booked an appointment at 1020 am. I was seen by doctor after 3 hours. The good excuse by staff is short staff.

If you can’t accommodate patient, why do you guys book an appointment for the patient. This really ridiculous. Very unmanageable.

All the pregnant women waiting there for more than 2 hours.
Worst appointment system at all.
No support nothing offered not a cup of water.
They don’t update the approximate time.

They don’t deserve single star.

I was sent to Hornsby emergency by ambulance. I was impressed by the doctor who examined me and the helpful triage nurses as I waited in between testing. I was then admitted to short stay and all the doctors and nurses were lovely and attentive and provided me a lot of comfort as I was told I was going to have emergency surgery. I was definitely in great hands. Even the discharge process was good . Overall I had a wonderful experience at this amazing hospital.

Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital is an exceptional facility. My experience there with the birth of my second child was truly positive. From my initial visits to the maternity clinic, the staff have consistently been wonderful—caring, approachable, and very friendly. In the labor room, the team was always available to help, creating an incredible experience in the maternity ward. When the decision was made for a cesarean section, the doctors were well-informed and supportive. The anesthetist was especially compassionate, staying by my side to explain everything and provide comfort.

During my hospital stay, Michelle, a maternity staff member, was outstanding. Her knowledge, care, and the way she looked after us were unforgettable. Thank you, Michelle, and a heartfelt thank you to all the maternity ward staff and doctors. We are so grateful for the exceptional work you’re doing at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital.

This hospital is decent the staff are quite kind and the wait time is not that long in the evening hours. One thing they could is more doctors they are just siting there doing nothing. To add to this you could give children priority

We found our stay and care at this hospital to be absolutely amazing,
I always have great things to say about Hornsby Hospital, but for this visit they went above and Beyond,
My daughter has traumas with doctors, Needles and sensory issues,
The staff here are so caring, understanding and patient to the extent a dreaded experience for my daughter turned into a place she was happy to stay and even when we were able to leave and I felt one more night was important to tie up loose ends after already being here 3 nights she was happy to stay a fourth and we both feel completely confident in going home knowing she will be okay.
Thank you to all the staff at paediatrics from beginning to end❤️❤️❤️

There were many wonderful nurses who cared for me post Total Hip Replacement However the first night post op I had the unfortunate and unexpected misfortune to be faced with a nurse who was so reluctant to give me adequate pain relief. Despite telling him I was in excruciating pain I was not given adequate pain relief. My husband made a complaint and eventually he asked the doctor who immediately! Gave me enough to cover it No problem for her. This poor experience marred my whole stay which would otherwise of been brilliant. It pains me to give such a low score but I don’t want this to happen again to anyone ever again.
