I had an excellent experience at Maroubra Medical and Dental Centre. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. The doctors took the time to listen to my concerns and provided thorough and thoughtful care. The dental team was equally impressive gentle, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. The centre was clean, well-organized, and the booking process was smooth and easy. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for top-notch medical and dental services in the area! :))

I have been wanting to get an appointment with my doctor who was booked out until Christmas. The receptionist when I was in was Vicky and she was very helpful and managed to squeeze me in the same day I was there to see Dr Wassif. Thank you to them both for being so helpful and making time to see me!

This practice has the benefit of being convenient to where I live. After that there is not much else. Our most recent three experiences are:
- booked a GP appointment and arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled time and then waited nearly an hour to be seen
- booked an appointment for get a referral for an ultrasound for my son. I got the referral but when we went to the imaging clinic the referral was not correctly filed out so we couldn’t go to the scan
- came for another appointment (I’m writing this as we wait) and we are already 30 minutes waiting…..

We will find a new GP practice as this one seems pretty poor at the basics.

The business replied claiming to have tried to call me. Impossible as I was not the patient and my number is not on file. On top of scamming societies most vulnerable, this place also blatantly lies. Avoid at all costs.

Very unimpressed by this scam, scum of healthcare.

They advertise as bulk billing for a large list of societies most vulnerable but on arrival the only GP working makes their own rules and doesn't bulk bill.

This isn't mentioned during the booking online, only in very very fine print online, not even on the posters all over the walls of the centre.

The receptionist is blunt and rude.

Shame on this facility pretending to offer healthcare but instead rips off the most vulnerable.

People wonder why the ED is filling up with non urgent cases but with facilities such as this leaving no other choice, there are no options. The system is broken to let highway robbery such as this be legal

Experience was great. The team were efficient. The doctor was thorough. Asked questions and made sure they understood my clinical background. I felt comfortable and confident in the assessment and treatment received .

I showed up this morning because I could not sleep all night due to vomiting and dificulty in breathing.

I was seen by a nurse called Amy Lewis and she denied me urgent care even though those two conditions I have are under the criteria accepted by non life-threatening urgent care according to their website https://www.urgentcarenetworkaustralia.com.au/location/maroubra-medicare-urgent-care-clinic/

I left crying having health care neglected after having the most healt scare night of my life.

Just waited before 0800am for them to open, already expecting to have to wait a moderate amount of time just to collect my blood report, which if I could get emailed I wouldn't need to physically make the trip to sit in a Drs office for them to physically print it and hand it to me. The center suddenly has a rule where they take a deposit of 105 dollars (on weekends, 80 on weekdays) as a holding amount because they cannot guarantee the doctor will charge to print off my pathology or not. Even booking a telephone consult, they will charge the same amount. I have gone to this medical center since I was a kid, never once, have I been charged to get me results for the consult I paid for originally prior to taking the blood. If I needed the doctor to review and provide interventions based on the results I understand, maybe the cost of paying to get lab numbers and medical expertise. I literally just want the numbers that the lab ran in their center that same up from my blood sample, Im not paying 105 dollars for that, I'm not sure anyone should actually. I do not understand what they are doing if they are changing their practice this way and stripping money from patients/customers in this current difficult economical time. Now I got a needle jab, my bloods drawn out, and they can gate keep my probably very low iron Ferratin results for me until I can be bothered to deal with their ridiculous system another day, if I pass out in the meantime, I'll know why.
