Convenient as you can book a doctor on the day most days as opposed to other practices where you have to wait days or even weeks. However, I recently had an appointment with a GP to get a referral for an immunologist for adults. I called the Immunologist only to be told the referral was faxed back as they only see children. Instead of the GP contacting me to send the correct referral, I get a text message asking to book an appointment for a non urgent result. This was the doctor’s mistake and I shouldn’t really be paying another visit just so she could give me the correct referral. I might book again if desperate, but never again with the same GP I’ve seen.

The support I have received from this medical surgery has been amazing. Yes doctors run late but never had to wait to long and the receptionists are always so apologetic and supportive too. I have also seen their Dietician and he is down to earth and gives you great advice on how to battle the bulge no judgement from anyone safe space which is very important when dealing with health matters

Doctors are available to see you, they are as cold as fish and don’t really care about you. On my first visit , I was advised I had a skin infection on my right foot. I was prescribed antibiotics. I told the doctor I was immune comprised as I had just finished cancer treatment two months earlier. He dismissed my comments. The infection went to my left foot and my hands and wrists. I went back to the same doctor when my antibiotics ran out, again as cold as a fish, prescribed stronger antibiotics and some cream. Well they have finished and I am no better off. Still have an infection in both feet, on my hands and wrists . Don’t waste your time or money. And the doctor told me not to come back, he couldn’t help me if the second lot of antibiotics didn’t work . Told me to see my GP or find a skin specialist, seriously. Very disappointing

Today's experience was very good. Dr. Dora Shirin is very kind. She really cares and would listen to you. Also the receptionist (who I don't know her name) was really kind and helpful.

Giving it a two, receptionist are great and so are the doctors. However, this one pathologist who took my blood was rude, and has maimed my forearm post bloods for going onto almost a fortnight now, I've given blood had bloods, she was aggressive and despite saying in right handed still took the blood from the right.. my forearm muscle is tender and stretching it feels tight and aggravated, I don't recommend that bloods here..

This practice just cost me $250! I called yesterday morning to get an urgent telehealth appointment and referral to a specialist. My usual GP was not there and I got an appointment today. My appointment was cancelled by “the system” because I did not want to add my credit card details to the Hotdoc app. In the past I have successfully paid the practice via phone after the telehealth appointment. I had to call the practice again and they confirmed that my appointment was indeed cancelled and given to someone else. After a long struggle with the receptionist at this practice, my appointment was reinstated. Today I saw the GP and got my referral for the specialist. We discussed that I needed the referral backdated to yesyerday’s date and the practice kindly faxed the referral to the specialists. A few minutes later I was notified by the specialist that the referral was dated for today and will thus not be considered by Medicare. I called the practice again and asked for the referral to be backdated please. A few minutes later they confirmed that the GP stated that it was against the law to backdate referrals. My question is thus why wasn’t I informed of this by the GP. So the payment excess to the specialust will not be covered by Medicare $214 and additionally I had to pay today’s GP excess of $45! If there were informed receptionists at this practice, I could at least have saved the GP’s excess fee. Needless to say that I am not happy.

So close to home. Easy, free parking. I found my GP by chance and just love her holistic care, dealing with my multiple health issues. I've never had to wait long and always feel that she knows ME, not just my medical records.

The GP prescribed me a cream that i specifically mentioned did not work previously. It feels like its all about the consultancy fee these days
