Me and my daughter have been coming here the last 10yrs since moving to the Penrith area, Before covid it was walk in walk out, type of service But like every doctor surgery you go to Now you have to wait, Most times I wait lot longer then what it actually takes to see a doctor. Doctor Steve has always been great, Very understanding and has always made me feel comfortable. Ladys at reception have always been welcoming to me although I have heard her be a bit abrupt to others on a couple of occasions, Although we all have them sort of days. Such a great doctor surgery 5 Stars for being so great

I’ve been coming here for many years now with my children and other family members I have since recommended. The reception staff are very warm and professional. They now know me and my kids by name. The drs are ALL very thorough and efficient - thank you for your care team!

Let's be realistic, this is Sydney. So many people. It doesn't seem to matter where you go, most places are crowded. It always the luck of the drawer when you go to the doctors. The thing that sets Southlands apart from the rest, is the number of doctors they have on-site. There could be a dozen people in front of you when you arrive but I've never had to wait more than 45 minutes. The doctors are knowledgeable and helpful.
I did go to another family clinic in the area and they had one doctor on duty. I waited over an hour and a half. Reception is also very helpful and polite at Southlands. Great medical clinic. I can't fault them.

A Doctor at the medical clinic wanted to charge me $100 for a medical procedure and I’m a pensioner and I went to another clinic and they done the medical procedure under Medicare bulk billing

I have been referred to Dr. Michael Looi by my Lung Physician, Dr. Paul Azzi, from Nepean Lung and Sleep. I wanted to share my experience and thoughts here. Dr. Azzi has been a caring and dedicated physician, and I appreciate his approach to patient care. It’s the first time that I have met such a caring Dr.
Before making an appointment with Dr. Looi, I decided to read reviews about his practice at Southlands Medical Centre. I was hoping to find a doctor who shares the same caring attitude as Dr. Azzi. However, I came across a number of negative reviews about Dr. Looi and his team. It's important to me to have a doctor who genuinely cares about their patients, and reading these reviews has made me hesitant about proceeding with an appointment.
Additionally, the reviews also mentioned that the receptionists at the practice weren't very friendly or empathetic. As someone seeking medical help, it's disheartening to feel like an outcast, especially when you're paying for the services. When it comes to healthcare, feeling valued and heard is crucial.

Dr Steve is amazing with my autistic son. I feel he knows me and my kids and that no question is a silly question. He always puts my mind at ease and provides the most incredible care. I have also seen Dr Trish and she is incredible. Beautiful human and such a calming and relaxed manner. I cannot dalt this practice and will continue to attend for all my GP needs.

I have been going to here since I was a child and Dr Michael’s parents were our drs.
Today I asked for first available, very aware my daughter needs antibiotics and I have a baby with me plus I’m working.
I waited a little over 90 mins then I gave up.
Dr Heavenleah takes way too long with her patients and I should have been advised if the delay upon arrival or assigned to dr Steve my usual Dr.

Not happy, you have more staff then ever yet the service is getting worse
