I am writing to express my outrage and disgust with Pegus Care. This company has demonstrated gross negligence in their care and supervision of a young, violent girl under their watch. This girl is frequently allowed to roam the streets of Kingswood with no clothes on, creating a disturbing and unsafe environment for everyone in the neighbourhood.

On multiple occasions, she has stolen shoes from our front door. The situation reached a shocking new low today when she, accompanied by her support workers, broke into our home while we were present and stole items from us. This invasion of our home is completely unacceptable and has left us feeling violated and unsafe. The support workers stood by and followed her into our home, also invading our privacy.

The support workers from Pegus Care did nothing to prevent this or to address the girl’s dangerous behaviour. Their lack of intervention and disregard for both her safety and the community’s well-being is appalling.

This company clearly fails to provide the necessary care and supervision, putting both their clients and the surrounding community at risk. I urge authorities to investigate Pegus Care immediately and take action to prevent further incidents. This level of negligence cannot be allowed to continue.

Unfortunately, I rented out my investment property to Pegasus Community Care. The property was maliciously damaged on two separate occasions in a very short period of time. I have written confirmation from the NSW Police confirming they attended on the two separate occasions with unique event numbers, due to a male who committed the malicious damage and who was aggressive.

Very disappointed with the staff of Pegasus who allow people under their care with mental health issues, to actively harass and intimidate the citizens of Austral and west hoxton (including females), for money at local shopping centres. Unfortunately, my pregnant partner and I have experienced this personally on multiple occasions. The owners in other reviews have stated that their staff are "trained to indentify and handle" these situations, however their staff do nothing, but allow the behaviour and sit back chatting amongst themselves.

It is even more dissapointing to see multiple people raising the same concerns within the local community, only to have the owners blame the people raising their concerns and sharing their own experiences, rather than accepting accountability of the lack of actions of their staff.

People with disabilities and mental health issues all have a place in society, but allowing your clients to harass and intimidate members of the local community (in particular the women) while your staff do NOTHING to prevent or deter the behaviour, is completely unacceptable. I truly hope Pegasus puts immediate plans in place to remedy the community's concerns.

My partner and I, fully agree with Pushpa's review. We have both been harrased for money at the local shopping centre on multiple occasions while the "carers" sit back and allow it to happen. We are then verbally abused when we decline the request for money or to buy something from the individual under your care.

I've also seen it happen to other people and have been there while police have needed to be called as the "carers" do little if anything to control the situation. You say your staff are trained to identify and handle these situations, however that is simply not the case on the ground in the West Hoxton and Austral region.

I have recently been informed that, A Current Affair, have been emailed about the ongoing disturbances to the community's citizens and local businesses.

I welcome the owners of Pegasus to a tour of the local shopping centres of Austral and West Hoxton to chat first hand to the locals and the businesses. They will be in for a real disappointment, much like my partner and I are, when we become harrased and abused by someone in your care while your staff do NOTHING, except ignore it and chat amongst themselves.

In response to your completely disgraceful reply. I have not targeted your patient at all but indeed have made it clear that your organisation will not take responsibility or accountability for their lack of action or concern in making sure that the general public is not harrased or being abused by your patient while they are out in public and under your care. DO BETTER!!

The only thing that is sad and extremely unethical here, is you and your organisation and how you can allow this to happen. Your response to the very concerns of the community is disgraceful and unapologetic, for the way you, your staff, and your carers ignore the safety of the individual who indeed does have a mental health disability and is under your care, they are a massive safety concern and threat to themselves and everyone in the community, it is frightening and extremely concerning that the locals in our community are worried to even go down the street to their local store, because they are worried they will be harrased and abused by your patient who is meant to be in your care, however, their actions are ignored by you and your so called carers who are meant to be caring for them and making sure they are not a threat to themselves or anyone else who is around them in public. Shame on you and your organisation!!! It is disgraceful that you think you can turn this around and make it out like myself and the rest of the community have no empathy and understanding for anyone with disabilities. THAT IS NOT TRUE NOR IS IT THE ISSUE HERE! The problem is that your organisation is ignoring what is actually happening here in our community.
Also for your information, you have just assumed that you know my partner and I which you do not! You have mentioned in your reply about some type of paperwork being handed out which I have no knowledge of. Clearly my partner and I aren't the only ones concerned regarding what is happening in our community and the lack of responsibility and accountability by your organisation.
