My family (2 adults, 2 kids)ave been seeing Dr Shakhar for years now. We can't fault him. He is always professional, respectful and knows his stuff. Even when they're flat out, Dr Shakhar is always caring.
The receptionists, Emma and Fran, are always very friendly and helpful. I can't recommend the Kempsey GP centre enough.

Me and my Father have been seeing Dr Shakar since he set up his own practice next to Laverty Pathology. His professionalism and integrity are without peer and me and my father would highly recomend his practice for new patients moving into the area. He bulk bills which is very rare in Kempsey these days. His staff are very lovely and professional as well. Having just sought after the services Of Dr Asadi to the practice is a very welcome addition and soon having Laverty at his practice will enhance it even further. Happy to provide a 5 star review.

Moving back to kempsey after embolisms. Was treated rudely at reception. Then like I'm some druggo only wanting pain killers when I am on scripts for strong pain management. Absolutely disgusting and disappointing when my relatives go here they are looking after me, told me to come here since now there's a new female. So much for this they were told they were taking new patients. Apparently not!. Not if you are quite ill. And have a pain condition too! No you're a druggo and scum from how I was treated. When I called up to see about changing my records to there I was not told anything about and medication restrictions this surgery has or how you can't go there if you are taking pain meds due to embolisms. How dare they treat me as if I am a street drug pusher that's How she came across. Yes I told her not to talk to me like this I told her my issues. She didn't care. Mind you the way she treated me as soon as she heard I wanted to transfer there she had issues and I wanted to leave. There's something really wrong. If it wasn't for my realitives I would have left there and then. But then to be told because of my meds they refuse me. Never heard of this not only this the way the reception did it was revolting. I have been through hell in icu in and out of hospital. I don't sleep. In pain and she talks to me like that. Disgusting. When I find a better place I'm taking my relatives out of there too.
