Dr. Reyftmann has been so helpful to our family, from initially helping my wife to arrive at a diagnosis after years of medical issues to all the support that has been offered since. Lionel is compassionate and empathetic. He listens and he really works in the best interests of his patients (a first for the male doctors my wife had previously seen). He isn’t afraid of trying new things to get results, he walked us through his processes and thinking in a way that is digestible and easy to understand and was always able to answer the questions we had. He was supportive when, after a couple of unsuccessful rounds, we decided to pause treatment for over a year and welcomed us back when we were ready to try again - ultimately resulting in a successful pregnancy and the birth of our baby girl. He has changed our lives and for that, I couldn’t recommend Dr Reyftmann and his team enough.

Dr Reyftmann was by my side for two years of fertility issues. He was reassuring, determined and caring. He never stopped trying new methods to try and help us. Every meeting we had was met with compassion and care. During surgeries he was reassuring and thoughtful. He is the reason why we have our beautiful daughter and we will be forever grateful. If you have any fertility concerns Dr Reyftmann is the doctor you need. Highly professional and caring. He listens to women and their concerns. I have been seeing Dr Reyftmann since July 2021 for fertility issues. At every appointment, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the kind and compassionate way in which Dr Reyftmann handles my situation. He thoroughly explains every single detail of the process, the risks and the statistics associated. Every question I have is answered completely and I am left feeling so confident and armed with more knowledge surrounding my situation. Infertility is such a sensitive and emotional topic, and I am so glad to have been referred to Dr Reyftmann, and to have him on my side during this journey. Such an amazing Dr who I would highly recommend.

I cannot rate Dr Reyftmann highly enough! He genuinely cares about his patients and has such a caring and warm personality. He always does what is best for the patient and does whatever he can to help solve the problem. I'm so glad I was referred to him because I've had some unpleasant experiences with other gynecologists in Wollongong.

I was lucky do discover Prof Reyftmann after having a bad experience with another gynaecologist. I have no doubt he saved my life. He discovered I had ovarian cancer during a hysterectomy and his surgical skill ensured as much of the disease as possible was removed. His kindness and professionalism will never be forgotten. When we first met with Dr Reyftmann we were unsure of how our journey beginning IVF would look but he made us feel so comfortable discussing what options we could consider. He educated us every step of the way, and we felt ok to ask whatever questions we wanted to. We were lucky enough to have had a successful round of IVF treatment after our first round and have a gorgoeus baby boy now.
