We needed a Locum Podiatrist in regional Victoria for 2 weeks May/June 2024.

There is a shortage of Allied Health Professional already and getting one to agree to travel to regional areas means your chances aren't in your favour. We heard about a federal program called RuralLAP and made contact.

RuralLAP are able to provide federal funding to get the Locums to the remote/regional areas (ie flights) accommodation and transportation whilst on placement. It remove many barriers for health clinics.

Zoe and the team at RuralLAP, thank you for the amazing Locum you sent to us. They were loved by our patients and our Podiatrist was able to relax and enjoy his annual leave knowing his patients were in excellent hands.

We highly recommend this organization.

We found them not helping
We dealt with arrogant people not welling to listen or help
We could not belief that we are dealing with a public organisation paid through taxpayers money
They are proud of being a part of Aspen pharmaceutical
The process of registering a Locum is very tedious and makes no sense regarding the amount of requested paperwork.
We do not know where to go to escalate your concerns even when you go to the Natinal manager , we have the feeling they are all sitting in the same room taking the same language. Our experience with them is so disappointing
