Firstly this was the only one of 5 services i tried to book an appointment with that actually sent a doctor. I booked around 6pm and got a doctor before 9pm which was great. However the doctor wasn't very thorough or eager to assist with my symptoms. But was fine for a vital check. Again was great that they said they would send someone and they did! A lot of bad experiences with other home doctor providers in that respect.

Website doesn’t work for sending an enquiry, email address is incorrect as emails come back as undeliverable. I stayed up late for a Telehealth appointment for a medical certificate as I was too sick to leave the house that day. Doctor called me (she sounded like she was half asleep) and said she would email a medical certificate to me. I never received one. Called and spoke with the admin lady (who makes you feel like you’re inconveniencing her by calling as she always sounds busy & like she works from home), who said she would re send the medical certificate to me as I hadn’t received it, and still nothing. Called again the next night and asked her to email it to a different email address, and still nothing. So I had a late night appointment at 11pm on Monday with half asleep doctor (idk why there’s no dedicated doctor who takes Telehealth appointments for the night), had to make several phone calls to the receptionist who doesn’t seem to enjoy being called, have attempted to contact via a undeliverable email & can’t get in contact with the broken online ‘contact us’ form. I did everything right, and tried to be patient, but I still have not received a medical certificate & it’s now Thursday. Do not use this service, it’s unorganised, unhelpful, and inconvenient. You’re better off going without. Really disappointed.

Absolute disgrace. We booked in a home appointment for our 9 week old son at 5.45pm, the teller told us 1-3hrs for a doctor to arrive. We waited up until 1am in the morning tried calling numerous times and heard nothing back and still have had contact since. Do not recommend.

Not happy at all!! I would give this service zero stars if I could. I called them after 5pm and booked a doctor for a home visit because my 8mth old baby was having high fevers over 39°c with flu and hadn't been eating. The lady on the phone said the doctor would call me after 6pm when she was on the way. I waited up until 2am and tried to call them back several times and left messages to call me back but nobody returned my call! I had seven kids at home with 3 under 4 yrs old so I couldn't even take my bub to emergency. Booked into a doctor today. Won't ever try this home doctor service again

Made an appointment on the app. Appointment was confirmed. Called up after the time had lapsed to check that I’d done everything correctly. Receptionist, Linda just said that they didn’t have doctors for my area tonight. No apology or explanation for the false appointment confirmation. I asked if she could recommend another service and she hung up on me. What a waste of time. I could have been taking my one year old somewhere else instead of waiting around. Really irresponsible on their part.

Linda the receptionist has terrible customer service. Booked an appt for my toddler, despite very standoffish phone manner. Had to cancel the appointment because he fell asleep waiting for the dr to arrive. Linda was very abrupt and reprimanded me for cancelling because "now I have to change things". Would not recommend. 13SICK is a much better service.

Pretty sure this company will swipe your Medicare card but not actually send a doctor. I made an appointment for my two year old at 5 pm. I rung for an ETA at about 8.30-without even finding out who I was I got a standard answer of 1-1.5 hours. It's now midnight. No calls. No text messages. I called again...went to voicemail. This is a joke.

Incensed.

Call, book and a doctor may or may not turn up. Haven't even been spoken to like that in horrible restaurants.

First call: Was met with a very abrupt person when I called in. Was spoken over and hung up on when I politely tried to ask a reasonable question. i.e What payment method will be required.?

Second call: We have your number and a doctor will call you within 3-4 hours. (Slightly and I mean slightly nicer this time before abrupt hang up).

Third call: 3.8 hr mark. Call in simply to ask how much longer will it be? But really.."Do i need to consider options etc etc..given that we have booked with you?".... and you have my billing credentials.

Loop message states "Thank you for calling Twenty Four Seven doctors service" then after what seems like an eternity" There is no one here to take you call.. Please leave a message".

N:B This is just the business name. I.E Not an indication of operating hours. ( But I will concede that could have been interpreted differently on my part. What are the odds?)

No one called to say..." Sorry mate.. you are on your own.. we aren't going to get to you".

Result: Having to tell a very ill, pale, lethargic, strep-throated, little 4.5 year old little girl that the doctor hasn't called to say he is here and Daddy can't get through to the lady he called a few hours ago. Is not a great experience. (Especially when you told your little girl at the time. That you had just spoken with "the lady" who said that they would send one who would call within three hours in order to comfort them).

The day after..

Fourth Call (And the second of this kind in my life) :
Call up to share the experience in the hope that other daddies, daughters and other human beings don't get the same experience. Who knows? maybe they have a service improvement plan? Or an initiative to build a brand or loyalty to it?

No compassion, remorse, empathy, sympathy or willingness to hear feedback was shown.

Just the same... The only conversation that i wanna have is how to get your medicare billing details. Cause would rather not be here talking to you.
